Mike Berger
Mike was a center/forward for the Curtis basketball team and also pitched and played first base and in the outfield for the baseball team. He graduated in 1971 and attended Pacific Lutheran University, where he played basketball and baseball.
Berger was the team captain of the 1971 undefeated state championship team at Curtis, and also was honored with the Inspirational Award. He was drafted by the New York Yankees as a pitcher out of high school, but chose to attend PLU, where he earned all-conference pitching honors twice. He lives in Tacoma, Wash., and is the general manager at M C Delivery.
