Daryl Eygabroad has been a wrestling official for 11 years and has been selected for five WIAA Regional Tournaments. He has served as the Assigning Secretary for the Western Washington Wrestling Officials Association for the last six years. He was part of a three-member committee that revamped and updated the WWWOA Constitution, By-Laws and Operating Principles to bring more accountability to the performance of officials. He has assisted young officials and the WWWOA, via the development and implementation of a mentor program that pairs young officials with seasoned veterans in a one-on-one mentor program. He volunteers every year to provide rules training at league meetings and at high school pre-season parent programs. For the last three years he has served as the Officials Representative (all high school sports) to the WIAA Region 3/West Central District Athletic Directors Association. As assigners and schools work to successfully implement and interface new technology programs, Daryl also serves as a technology resource assisting assigners and ADs in navigating through these programs. As a testament to his exemplary leadership and impact, Daryl was given a special exception to the 15 years of experience requirement and was awarded the WOA Meritorious Service Award after 11 years of experience. He also was awarded the WWWOA Chris McDonnell Most Inspirational Award for 2007/2008.
