Robyn Buck

    Since moving to Edgewood in 2008, Robyn has become an integral figure in the local volleyball scene. She is currently the President of the Tacoma Pierce County Volleyball Officials' Board.

    In 2009, Robyn earned the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO) collegiate state rating. Currently, she officiates in all the Northwest small college conferences (NWAACC, GNAC, NAIA and Northwest Conference) along with the local high schools. She has been a USA Volleyball rules clinician for three years and also runs a two-day referee summer camp to train officials.

    She has officiated at Washington state high school volleyball tournaments five years in a row.

    Born May 29, 1971 in Kenmore, New York, Robyn is a 1994 graduate of West Chester University (Penn.). She was an All-American nominee as an outside hitter for West Chester her senior season. She began officiating volleyball in 1999 in Eugene, Oregon and has also been a college coach for men's and women's teams.

    "I believe it is absolutely a necessity to give back to a sport which has given and continues to give me so much pleasure both as a player and a referee," Robyn said.
