Isaiah was a first-team All-Pac-10 selection in 2010 as a sophomore at the University of Washington. The 5-foot-8 guard was the second-leading scorer for the Huskies as they advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
Entering his junior year, Isaiah ranks 26th on the all-time UW scoring list with 1,134 points. He has amassed more points in the first two years of a career than any previous Husky player. He was fifth in the Pac-10 averaging 16.9 points per game in the regular season.
He set a new career-high with 30 points in the UW season opener vs. Wright State. Isaiah also led Washington to the Pac-10 Tournament title and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
As a freshman, Isaiah was named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and a second-team all-conference selection.
Before moving on to South Kent School in Massachusetts to finish his high school career, Thomas led Curtis to a sixth place finish at the 2006 Washington 4A state tournament. He was the state Class 4A player of the year as a junior when he set eight state tournament scoring records. He set state tournament records for points in a game (51), points in a tournament (162), points in a state tournament career (241), tournament scoring average (40.5), field goals made (53), field goals attempted (103), three-pointers made (23), and three-pointers attempted (56). Isaiah averaged 26.2 points as a sophomore at Curtis and 31.2 points as a junior.
