Kelsey Bell is Sumner’s salute to Stan Naccarato. She was the star of the Spartan basketball teams, MVP in fact, and a first-team all-league selection. She has amazed those at Sumner high with her community involvement and has earned the United Way Community Service Award every year for four years. Inducted into the National Honor Society through the President’s list and Dean’s List at Pierce College, she has maintained a 3.5 average for the past three years. Currently she has a 3.79.
She has given more than 180 volunteer hours to United Way each year for her four years in high school, participated in Clean-up Bonney Lake Days by weeding, planting shrubs, trees and flowers, and serving the Lions Club there for the past three years which requires 15 hours of community service and 5 hours outside of school functions. She’s been a Math Tutor, too, a Kids Camp Coach and her Back-To-School Night efforts have raised money to buy needy students backpacks and school supplies.
